• Service as a fieldmaster for 3–13 years
• Medical care of injured and sick personnel in emergency (combat) situations
• Life‑sustaining procedures: CPR, haemorrhage control, splinting
• Assist the specialist with intravenous access and medication administration
• Transport of patients, monitoring vital signs until arrival at a medical facility
• Patrol escort in a protected ambulance (BAT – movable medical unit), even in dangerous situations
• Higher starting salary for holders of a professional qualification
• Monthly allowance of 100 € for leadership roles
• Additional pay for weekend, holiday, and night duties
• Family and child allowances and pay for overseas deployments
• Free train travel in uniform for private trips
